Steve Reich

February 4th 2011

I recently stumbled across a composer named Steve Reich. His work absolutely astonished me. Much of it is very tempo based (think blinkers on two different cars slowly aligning until they are blinking in sync).

Anyway, I was completely mesmerized by it and thought it deserved to be shared. (I mean hey, he won a Pulitzer!).

As a side note, my favorite composer of all time is Eric Whitacre. Check out some of his work.
